Ingredients
  1 can of Tuna
1 can of Sweetcorn
1 Onion
1 Jar of Tomato based Pasta Sauce
Dried Pasta shapes (penne, spirals etc)
4 oz of grated Cheddar or Red Leicester Cheese
2 large tomatoes thinly sliced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Water

Direction

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees c.
Open and drain the cans of tuna and sweetcorn
Chop onion, put sauté pan on a medium heat and add onions. Cook until just translucent, stirring them to prevent from burning.
Add the tuna, sweetcorn and the jar of pasta sauce.

Now this is where it gets interesting………

Using the empty pasta sauce jar, add a jar of water and a jar and a half of dried pasta to the pan. Stir and then put the lid on the pan.

Bring the pan up to simmering and then transfer to the oven, removing the handle once in the oven.

Bake for 35 minutes and then remove the lid, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top and decorate with the tomato slices.

Place back in the oven (without the lid) until the cheese has melted (about 5-10 minutes)

Serve straight from the pan with a lovely salad for a healthy nutritious meal

TIPS: Depending upon budget, this can be made with anything from Supermarket Basic ranges upto the organic ranges.

If you have any peppers in the fridge, try adding them for a bit of extra taste and colour.
